Is my data really private?
Yes. Your documents are anonymized in your browser before being encrypted and sent. AI providers only receive anonymized text — never your name, email, or original PII. We never store the source document.
What is a credit?
1 credit = 1 chat message or 1 document analysis. Credits are for pay-per-use only — subscription plans include their monthly or daily allowances without consuming credits.
What's the difference between credits and subscriptions?
Credits are one-time purchases for flexible, pay-per-use access. Subscriptions (Starter, Pro, Business) give you a monthly allowance (or unlimited), no ads, and no waiting — billed monthly.
Can I use my own Claude / OpenAI / Gemini API key?
Yes — on Starter, Pro, and Business plans. Your API key is encrypted with your password (PBKDF2 + AES-256) and never stored in plaintext. Using your own key does not consume credits or count toward monthly limits.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Your account reverts to the Free plan at the end of the billing period. Your history and settings are preserved. Any purchased credits remain and never expire.
